Every moving part has what appear to be very high quality bearings. The main hinge even has grease fittings. The movements are smooth and quiet. It feels as good as any gym machine I've used. The padding is very firm, and the material feels really thick and feels more commercial than home gym quality. The counterweight makes swinging between extension and curls really smooth and easy.
The assembly instructions could be better., but much of it was pre-assembled. Towards the end of the assembly I figured out that I should have used the parts list at the front of the manual as a key while I worked through the manual during assembly.
Communication from the company could also be batter. I placed the order, got an immediate email confirmation and then nothing for over a week. I called and was told it's on the loading dock and ready to be shipped the next day. So good news, but it would have been nice to be able to plan.
The crate arrived in great condition, and every part inside was wrapped in one layer of foam and a second layer of bubble wrap. It was a job in and of itself to unwrap it all, but all of the parts were pristine.
Total assembly time: 45 minutes to lug the parts from the crate on the street to my gym. About 4 hours to unwrap and assemble the parts. About another 30 minutes to clean up the mountain of wrappings.
Buying this machine was a sacrifice of money and space. I think i's worth it. I would highly recommend it.
