Title: Excellent Home Gym with a Few Minor Design Improvements Needed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I've owned the MAXUM F-220 for a couple of months now, and overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. The build quality is excellent, and the rack feels solid and stable. One of the biggest advantages is the variety of exercises you can perform with a single piece of equipment. The attachments and features make it a very versatile setup, especially considering its relatively compact footprint. For the price, I think it offers excellent value. There are a few things I would improve: - Leg holder: It would be nice if it were easier and quicker to install and remove. - Cable pulley height: I wish the pulleys could be adjusted a little lower to allow for more flexibility with certain exercises. - J-hooks: The clips on the J-hooks can get in the way when re-racking the barbell. The rings on the barbell sleeves can catch or interfere with the clips, making it less convenient to rack the bar. These aren't dealbreakers, but they're improvements I'd love to see in future versions. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the F-220. It's a well-built, versatile home gym that offers great value for the money. Despite those minor design issues, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a complete home gym setup without taking up too much space.

We bought a F220 power rack / functional trainer, barbell, and floor mats from Maxum after loads of research and they delivered!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shipping was incredibly fast to BC, extra instructions with photos were sent via email for assembly of the rack and everything was packed well/nothing missing when received. The power rack went together easily and is incredibly sturdy, it feels like a commercial rack. The floor mats are excellent quality as well! Overall very happy with our purchase from Maxum and would definitely order again.

I bought the MAXUM S-150 Smith Machine Functional Trainer Squat Rack and have been extremely happy with its functionality and overall quality. After using it for some time, I experienced a minor issue with the cables. I contacted customer support, and they were incredibly helpful - they sent out replacement cables very quickly and without any hassle. It is a great product backed by excellent, responsive customer service. Highly recommend!

The MAXUM s150 is the perfect addition to any home gym, the multi use machine comes with multiple attachments that covers all workouts, the s150 is heavy duty and smooth, Stop paying high gym memberships and get one of these you won’t regret it!!!

Maxum was great to deal with. They always responded to emails in a timely manner. The product itself is very well designed and built. I felt their instructions missed a lot of details that could affect the functionality of the product had I not been able to figure out where certain parts went. Some of the parts were labelled incorrectly and there were parts not in the manual and parts that were listed in the manual but not delivered with the shipment. Thankfully, I think this was a printing error as I was able to assemble the machine without missing parts

The gym is pretty awesome & sturdy, with smooth cables and fits perfectly in my basement gym with clearance to be able to do pullups. Giving it 4 stars due to the poor instructions. They manual & photos did not always match the same machine. Had to undo & redo some of the gym, so took some hours to build.

After alot of research I wanted a set of Snode Adjustable Dumbbells 80lbs. Chose because I wanted quick changing ADs, but still being durable. Can read my review on their site about the ADs. Didn’t sell Snode though in any Calgary fitness stores so went online. Chose MAXUM fitness as Northern Fitness was nearly $150 more as they charge the shipping. Very smooth process with MAXUM. I was worried the order delivery might be tight and before I went on vacation (and my poor elderly father in law watching the place, would have to drag heavy weights into the house 😆). Called and agent very helpful, order processed in a day and shipping was 2 days out of their other warehouse in BC (no surprises from what agent told me). Nothing arrived broken and loving the equipment!

I ordered the maxum s-92 smith machine and couldn't be more pleased. Shipping took about 6 business days and was delivered to my doorstep. The build quality is exceptional for the price. Everything runs really smooth, I lubed every pulley and the running track for the weights and smith and everything glides smoothly. The instructions can leave a bit to be desired but are good enough to figure out. A lot of the pieces had tiny little metals balls in from the manufacturing process I'm assuming where it was laser cut, they definitely make a mess and you should uncrate it and shake it out outside. There were also a dozen or so left over bolts, I'm not sure what they're for but I didn't need them for the machine. It would be easier to build with 2 people but took me about 6 hours to fully uncrate and build. Overall couldn't be more pleased, wicked addition for a home gym.

Simply perfect. I bought the Maxum smith machine with rotating arms, the bench and the floor tiles. The product quality is excellent, the machine is extremely heavy, strong and well designed. The numerous features engineered make is a very versatile tool to do so many exercises. The different positions makes it possible to be creative and work all muscles. The service was also very very solid. I ordered many things in separate batches and they delivered everything in one trip, ahead of schedule. Very satisfied by Maxum

have had my maxum x1 for a year and honestly cannot be anymore happy with it. It's really good quality and all the attachments are well made. customer service is excellent as well.

I bought the 82.5" version of the MAXUM X2 back in December 2025, and after six months of heavy, consistent use, I can confidently say it’s the best investment I’ve made for my fitness goals. Compared to other high-end functional trainers and power racks on the market, the value you get with Maxum is unbeatable, especially here in Canada. You get a heavy-duty, commercial-grade rack and a ton of attachments without the massive price tag of other brands, I am very happy with my purchase.

I love this place, my wife and I picked up the SX2 floor model and snodes with rack. All the employees are great and very helpful. Will purchase from here again !
