Patent Pending Articulating Functional Trainer Arms

The patent-pending Mutant Arms™ are a major leap forward for our articulating functional trainer arms. Two attachment points give you three cable ratios: use the 2:1 end for smooth, finer-increment work, the 1:1 end for true pound-for-pound resistance so the weight you load is the weight you feel, or connect to both ends at once for a combined 1:1.5 ratio – one and a half times the weight on the stack for short-range, heavy movements. They articulate both horizontally and vertically to set the perfect starting position for any exercise – go wide for chest flys and cable crossovers, bring them together for lat pulldowns and seated rows, or angle them up and down for presses, pulls, and everything in between. A detachable counterbalance keeps the cable tracking smooth on horizontal and bottom-up pulls, then lifts off when you don’t need it.

Compact yet powerful, the optional XSA Smith Machine Attachment bolts directly to the frame and delivers the guided safety of a Smith machine without sacrificing your rack’s versatility.

Stainless Steel Front Uprights

The X1 comes standard with stainless steel 3×3 11 gauge front uprights to keep your rack always looking new. Some of the most well respected power rack brands offer 3×3 11 gauge stainless uprights as a premium option for a reason so if someone says stainless steel uprights are inferior, then they don’t know squat (pun intended).

Dual 220 lb Weight Stacks

The included dual 220 lb weight stacks in 10 lb increments ensures you will have the weight you need for all your functional trainer exercises. And for those that need a little more, the included weight plate horns allow you to add weight plates to the stack.

Strap Safety Arms and UHMW Sandwich J-hooks

The unique and hefty optional strap safety arms gives you your bar a soft landing when you need it. And the included J-hooks use UHMW sandwiched between two thick steel plates to protect your bars finish and knurl.
